Oil Safety & Usage
Skin Patch Test
- A skin patch test is advised 48 hrs before first use (especially for those who have known reactions to perfumes or skin sensitivities). Place some oil on a bandaid and apply to the inside of the forearm. Check for any skin reactions or irritations (such as redness, itching, or swelling). Repeat a second time to confirm any sensitivity.

Usage & Contraindications
- Oils are not recommended for use during pregnancy or nursing. If you have underlying medical conditions or are taking any medications, please consult your GP for any contra-indications prior to use. Some essential oils may not be suitable as they may interact with certain medications.
 - All oils should be used as directed, over intact non-inflamed skin, and not be used together (combined) with other oils or creams.
 - For adults, in the facial area; apply only spot treatment to the temples, middle forehead, or over the TMJ/jaw joint (as applicable). Use either the Grounding, Restore, or Balance oil.
 - For children (over 2 yrs old), only the Balance oil is appropriate, and it should not be applied to the face.

Frequency of Usage
- To avoid possible desensitisation to essential oils (where they potentially become less effective over time due to repeated use), it is advised to use a particular oil for up to a 2-week period (when used daily), and then change to another oil.
 - The oils are intended for use as needed, as a complementary support during times of healing and recovery.
 - Generally, if there has been no noticeable improvement within 1-3 days, or you experience persistent symptoms, consult your health care professional and seek a thorough assessment and treatment for your condition.
